“Khijadiya Bird Sanctuary” Jamnagar, Gujarat
‘Khijadiya Bird’ Sanctuary is located 15 km from Jamnagar, Gujarat-the petrochemical hub. The sanctuary is popularly known for its migratory bird population. The best season to visit Khijadiya is winter and one can expect lot of migratory birds. Although these snaps were taken during peak summer, lots of resident birds were indeed a respite to eyes.
Note: The snaps are captured using a Kodak Easy share Digicam of 12 MP, I missed my Pentax SLR š

yup, it was not actually d season for bird watching… š the best time to visit this sanctuary is oct to dec…
