Tiny droplets of rain smearing
A soft rubber acting harsh
Broken are the droplets into fragments.
Splashing sound of water beneath
Smoke engulfing from the engine
Bubbles of droplets scattered around
It rains again as never again..
The freshness of water a miracle
Engrossing thoughts of childhood
Paper Boats and fresh water fishes
Of monsoon sickness and missed classes.
Water flowing down the camber
Spraying water from revolving tyres
Ponds of water all over the path
Notion of nostalgia seeking in…
I like the feel of this poem – and you added the perfect picture.
thanks NK…. 🙂
