There is tranquillity even in disaster
The freshness of breeze is captivating
Rays of sun as beams of hope from heaven
Vacant streets once filled with machines.
No more fight, no more war
Jungles of concrete eroded away
Thick habitats of humanity erased
Magnificent marvels amiss.
Those eyes, I never have come across them
Remembering a few last moments of life
There was love in each person’s eye
Screaming to be helped but in vein.
Thank you O’ lord to take me away with you
It is the urge to meet and embrace loved ones
Flabbergast I was with the morality of mankind
For it is the aftermath of the nuclear bomb.
