Different campaigns, different emotions. The marketing team at Cadbury has certainly got it all right and continue to follow the tradition of Cadbury. The emotions of common man have been portrayed excellently and thus Cadbury maintains its No.1 position in the huge quality capacity deficit market as India. Creative thinking behind the branding of its latest TV commercials Shubh Arambh and the Silk-Kiss me, both ads try to get the attention of young India. Almost 40% of India’s population will shift to tier 2 and tier 3 cities by 2020.
How huge a market are we talking about?
The Indian chocolate industry is a 15 Billion Ruppee industry!
Production of chocolate in India to go up by 60% in the next 2 years!
Of the 18000 tonnes of cocoa required for production nearly 50% is imported!
60% of the 40% population migrating to urban India comprise of youth!

My Observations
The campaigns initiated by cadbury are truly worth watching in-between a interesting program and my take is 9/10 for the marketing, branding and reach of this ever mouth watering product.
im a big fan of cadbury’s original dairy milk chocolate..nothing can beat it!!!
and speaking of advertisements, there isnt a single ‘cadbury’ ad i havent liked so far 😀
