The days were long enough and
The nights even more longer
Twinkling stars amiss in day
Smiling sunshine aloof by night!
We promised to stay devoted
In pouring rain and vailing pain
Times unholy and signs so folly
She worshiped in faith, I in fear!
As seasons changed their color
Drenched raincoat to woven wool
We bonded together in warmth and
In hope to revisit the changing color!
Night and day, winter to summer
She grew with trust, I with temper
I cried in calm, she smiled in anger
If only
The days were long enough and
The nights even more longer…..
